Brent's background is predominantly telecoms, 8 years with Cable and Wireless in various senior Sales roles in the mobile division which included time in Singapore evaluating and preparing the bid for a mobile license on behalf of Cable and Wireless. He moved to wireless messaging within the group and following acquisition by an American consortium managed the Sales and Customer Service functions for the new company. Having achieved significant growth despite emerging rival
technologies; he left in 2000 along with a business colleague to set up Driving Force 8 - an interim and Consultancy Company.
Since then he has focused on start up ventures and emerging technologies. They include hosting and developing applications using speech recognition, the locating and tracking of items using mobile phone technology and streaming of video into a compressed form so that it can be received via email. Most recently he has been acting as Sales Director for The Key Revolution: introducing revenue generating 'cloud' technologies into the mobile B2B channel. He has considerable experience in working with VC's and understands the necessity of delivering results on a restricted budget.
